Linkedin Groups Provide Top Quality Internet Marketing Leads

LinkedIn is a service site for professional networking and is probably the most accessible website to propel business in a short span of time! Founded in December 2002 by REED Hoffman and current LinkedIn CEO, Jeff Weiner, it is mainly used for professional networking. In the networking site there are thousands of LinkedIn Groups which allow users to establish new business relationships by joining alumni, industry, professional and other relevant groups. LinkedIn groups can be created in any subjects and by any member of LinkedIn. Some groups are specialized groups dealing with a narrow domain or industry whereas others are very broad and generic in nature.

LinkedIn Groups are composed of members whose profile is assessed and sorted. Initially, LinkedIn only had the very basic features enabling users to create groups and invite people to join. Those users joining groups were able to show what groups they belong to on their profiles to get some extra visibility to the groups. Now the groups have become a thriving and breathing part of the online community. Since LinkedIn members are gathered by professional backgrounds and business ventures it is easier for them to form or find small or broad business groups.
